Marian Cramer Projects is pleased to present new works by visual artist – musician Richard Bolhuis (NL/UK 1977) who currently lives and works in Groningen, NL. Recently he has performed and exhibited his work in a variety of locations including Groninger Museum (Groningen), Van Gogh Museum (Amsterdam), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Worm (Rotterdam), STUK (Leuven), the Joinery (Dublin) and at the festival Le Guess Who? (Utrecht).

Bolhuis’ deeply personal and intuitively created installations combine drawings, murals, paintings, film loops and sound installations as well as live performances by his music collective House of Cosy Cushions.

 

Let Me Come Close primarily focuses on his pencil and ink drawings together with a film loop and sound installation.
